April 28, 2009 Welkom to Amsterdam!

We took a long walk on our first full day in Amsterdam. Above is Dam Square, with its ferris while and other carnival rides and foods. This is the common setup for holidays like Queensdag and the winter holidays

Here is just one of hundreds of cool lookin buildings here in Amsterdam.

This is looking from Dam Square up to Central Station (in the distance). This is Damrak street which is the main drag, and touristville..

We marched around for about 4 hours than went home early and watched some dutch television and some A-team and Night Rider reruns, than slept about 12 hours. -Colin
